He is the Light
If we follow Him
We will never walk in darkness,
Because He is the Light.

Isaiah 9:2
The People who walked in darkness
Have seen a great light;
Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,
Upon them a light has shined.

This prophecy was fulfilled when the Christ came to live among us.

Matthew 4:16
The people who sat in darkness
Have seen a great light,
And upon those who sat in the region
And shadow of death Light has dawned.

The Gentiles who sat in darkness
Saw the Light of Christ;
Because the Jews refused to accept Him
Giving the Gentiles the opportunity;
Christ turned to the Gentiles.
When the fullness of the Gentiles is over
The Jews will then be saved (Romans 11:25)
